Welcome to the Colonial Ringers' web page. Our group has been delighting Washington
audiences since 1991 (happy 20th Anniversary to us!). We consist of 10-12 men and women who live and work in the Washington
area. The group brings a 5-octave long set of bells from the White Chapel foundry in England and performs year-round at concerts,
festivals, weddings, faires, and private functions - anywhere our unique
and entertaining form of music is desired. Programs are traditionally 40-60 minutes in length, but can be tailored to particular
requests. . Beautifully costumed in Colonial, Renaissance or traditional
dress, we are a unique visual and auditory experience.
Our small ensemble, "Touch of Clash" also plays
for public and private functions. This 4-person group plays a variety of musical styles and is great for comic relief (and
of course more serious performances).
For the full group, we require an area approximately 14'x14'. Smaller group
ensembles require less space. We carry all of our own equipment and do not require amplification. Early booking is required,
particularly during the holiday season.
Take a look at our group history and browse our performance dates. The
holiday shows are "must-sees!"
